Frequently asked questions
What does Telagent sound like? Will callers know it's AI?
It speaks in a natural voice, fluently, and can be interrupted just like a person. At the start of each call it introduces itself as your company's AI assistant. That's only fair, and European rules on artificial intelligence require it too.
Which languages does it speak?
Slovak, Czech and English. It recognises the caller's language and replies in it. Our demo line on +421 2 2041 2203 is set up in Slovak.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number. Ask your operator to forward calls to your Telagent number, either all calls or only when you don't answer or the line is busy. You can cancel forwarding with a single code.
I don't have a landline. Can I get a business number?
Yes. We'll set you up with a landline style number with your city's area code, for example 02 for Bratislava or 051 for Prešov. Callers see an ordinary business number and Telagent answers every call on it.
What if Telagent doesn't know the answer?
It won't make anything up. It says it will check, notes the question and the contact details, and you get the message by email. If the matter is urgent, it puts the call through to you.
Can it book appointments?
It takes appointment requests, including the preferred time, and sends them to you to confirm. Booking straight into your calendar is on the way; let us know which system you use.
How long does setup take?
Usually up to 5 working days after you send us your information. Most of that time goes into test calls with you so the answers are spot on.
How many calls can it handle at once?
Several at once. Callers don't wait in a queue or hear an engaged tone.
Where is call data stored?
We keep the call transcript and summary for 90 days, then delete them. We process them only on your behalf, as a processor under a data processing agreement. Details are in our privacy policy.
Is there a minimum term?
No. You pay monthly and can cancel any time, effective the last day of the month. Setup is a one off fee.
